In 1898, this building was constructed as the bottling house for the Home Brewing Company. It survived Prohibition, outlived every other pre-Prohibition brewery in Indianapolis, and lived seven lives before becoming 24 Shelby.

The father of Hook's Drugs made beer in this building. Now, couples get married here.
